Multiple Insurtechs Compete at National Association of Insurance Commissioners Conference
SACRAMENTO, CA HomeZada was selected by a panel of insurance industry judges as the winner of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) insurtech startup pitch competition. HomeZada is a consumer home management software platform that helps homeowners manage, maintain, protect and improve their largest asset. The competition was part of the recent Insurance Conference held by NAIC with the theme of “Where Innovation Meets Regulation.”

NAIC’s pitch competition had five industry judges that have roles as a state insurance commissioner, corporate venture capital investor, insurance accelerators, insurance technology companies, and strategic insurance thought leaders. The startups were judged in 5 categories which included ingenuity, the potential market impact, competitive advantage, quality and the long-term viability for success.
